December

On December 28, 2023, at 7:34 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 13th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Landin A. Heiler (20), Lena, was northbound on 23rd Avenue, failed to stop for a stop sign at 13th Street, and collided with a vehicle operated by Matthew P. Boruszewski (30), Roscoe, IL, which was eastbound on 13th Street. Both vehicles sustained non-functional damages and were towed. Boruszewski reported minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene by Green County EMS and declined transport. Heiler was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and released pending a court appearance. On December 28, 2023, at 5:27 PM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of 12th Street. The investigation led to the arrest of Jeffrey T. Harrison (55), Monroe, on charges of battery, false imprisonment and disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Harrison was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On December 26, 2023, at 6:41 PM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 700 block of 21st Street. The investigation led to the arrest of Alexis L. Furino (31), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Furino was also cited for operating without required headlamps and for possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (marijuana). Furino was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On December 24, 2023, at 8:31 AM. officers arrested Bacilio Figueroa Lopez (50), Monroe, in the 1700 block of 8th Avenue, on an arrest warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department for a prior domestic disturbance case. Figueroa Lopez was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On December 24, 2023, at 7:19 PM, officers responded to a business in the 800 block of 31st Avenue to check the welfare of an intoxicated male. After the investigation, James J. Braun (19), Monroe, was arrested for felony bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from a prior case. Braun was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On December 24, 2023, at 9:23 PM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 2200 block of 8th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Kylie T. Swaziek (20), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Swaziek was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On December 22, 2023, at 12:13 PM, officers were called to the intersection of 5th Avenue and 8th Street for a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Joseph A. Holland (50), Monroe, was operating northbound in the 800 block of 5th Avenue, turning on to 8th Street. The vehicle failed to yield the right of way and collided with a vehicle operated by Dustin J. Andrews (37), Monroe, which was eastbound on 8th Street. Both vehicle sustained moderate damages and were driven from the scene. Holland was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and released pending a court appearance.
On December 21, 2023, at 4:18 PM, officers arrested Anthony T. Williams (35), Monroe, on an arrest warrant from the Dane County Sheriff's Office. Williams was confined in the Green County Jail pending transfer to Dane County.
On December 20, 2023, at 1:58 PM, officers arrested Jason M. Dunlap (39), Monroe, on several active arrest warrants in the 800 block of 19th Avenue. Dunlap was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On December 17, 2023, at 2:44 AM, officers were called to a motor vehicle accident with no reported injuries in the 1500 block of 16th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle had struck two legally parked unattended vehicles and then left the scene. A short time later the same vehicle was located, involved in a second minor accident with a utility pole guide wire at 16th Street and 7th Avenue. The driver, identified as Rosalindo Mallagua Chalamigua (age and city of residence unknown), was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On December 16, 2023, at 1:03 AM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 1700 block of 17th Street. The investigation led to the arrest of Harol W. Iglesias Bustillo (25), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Iglesias Bustillo was also cited for failure to stop for a stop sign, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, display of false registration, non-registration of a vehicle, operating without insurance and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration. He was released pending a court appearance. On December 16, 2023, at 8:10 AM, officers arrested Caleb J. McIntosh (19), Monroe, on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole, for a probation violation. McIntosh was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On December 15, 2023, at 2:43 AM, officers were called to the intersection of STH 69 and 6th Street for a two-vehicle accident with reported injuries. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Judy K. Coy (75), Browntown, had driven south in the northbound lane of the divided highway STH 69, from 2nd Street to 6th Street, and then tried to turn west (right) on 6th Street. The vehicle then collided with a southbound on STH 69 semi tractor trailer unit, which was on the correct side of the divided highway. This unit was driven by Derek A. Gilbertson (38), Monroe. Coy sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by Green County EMS. Coy's vehicle sustained severe damages and was towed. The other unit sustained functional damage. Coy was cited for an improper right turn and was released pending a court appearance.
On December 10, 2023, at 3:37 AM, officers arrested Yefrin E. Gutierrez Centeno (31), Monroe, at a residence in the 2700 block of STH 69, on two (2) warrants issued by the Dane County Sheriff's Office. Gutierrez Centeno was confined in the Green County Jail pending transfer to Dane County.
On December 6, 2023, at 11:48 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident, with reported injuries, on 20th Avenue at 12th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Derek R. Glover (37), Monroe, was northbound on 20th Avenue and collided with another northbound vehicle, operated by a 64-year-old Monroe woman, which was stopping in traffic at 12th Street to turn west. Both vehicles sustained minor damages and were driven from the scene. Glover was cited for motor vehicle following too closely, and released pending a court appearance.
On December 2, 2023, at 9:24 PM, officers were dispatched to a complaint at the Monroe Police Department. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Darwin D. Williams (65), Monroe, on a charge of soliciting a prostitute. Williams posted cash bail and was released pending a court appearance.
On December 1, 2023, at 4:18 AM, officers arrested Misael Olmos Garcia (26), Monroe, at a residence in the 1900 block of 6th Street, on a warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Office on a child support case. Olmos Garcia was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On November 30, 2023, at 3:27 PM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries, in the 1500 block of 16th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Ryan P. Mallory (18), Monroe, was conducting a backing maneuver, and collided with a legally parked vehicle. Mallory was cited for unsafe backing and released pending a court appearance. On November 30, 2023, at 4:06 PM, officers were called to check on a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of 16th Avenue. An investigation led to Cody A. Kirschbaum (35), Albany, being cited for obstructing an officer and Christina M. Allen (31), Monroe, being cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. Kirschbaum and Allen were released pending a court appearance.

On November 27, 2023, at 1:27 AM, officers arrested Dustin J. Olson (34), Monroe, following a traffic offense stop in the 1700 block of 25th Street. Olson was charged with misdemeanor bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions on a prior case and also charged with resisting officers. Olson was also cited for operating without a valid driver's license and non-registration of a vehicle. Olson was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On November 26, 2023, at 3;27 AM, officers arrested Andrew C. Moen (33), Blanchardville, in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West, following an investigation into persons in the City Park after closing hours. Moen was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense and going armed with a firearm while intoxicated. Moen was also cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and being in the park after hours. Moen posted cash bail and was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance. On November 26, 2023, at 8:18 PM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of 12th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Michael R. Vierck (36), Monroe, on charges of disorderly conduct while armed, criminal damage to property and intimidation of a victim. Vierck was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On November 23, 2023, at 3:06 AM, officers were dispatched to a 911 call in the 1000 block of 12th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Elias F. Quiahua Xochicale (25), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct while armed under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Quiahua Xochicale was confined in the Green County Jail, and later released after posting cash bail pending a court appearance.
On November 22, 2023, at 3:21 AM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 500 block of West 21st Street. The investigation led to the arrest of Osvaldo Martell Sanchez (33), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-3rd offense. Sanchez was also cited for operating left of the centerline, failure to dim headlights, failure to install ignition interlock device, and operating while revoked due to an alcohol refusal. Sanchez was also wanted on an arrest warrant from Dane County, WI. Sanchez was transported to the Green County Jail, and was later released to a responsible person after posting cash bail, pending a court appearance. On November 22, 2023, at 8:44 AM, officers were called to an incident in the 2000 block of 9th Street. The investigation led to the arrest of Brian J. Robinson (27), Huntsville, AL, on two (2) counts of disorderly conduct, battery, and battery towards an elder person. Robinson was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On November 20, 2023, at 6:20 PM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of 6th Street and 4th Avenue. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Juan Hernandez (29), Monroe, was traveling north on 4th Avenue, stopped at the stop sign at 6th Street, and entered the intersection. Upon entering the intersection, it collided with a vehicle which was southbound on 4th Avenue turning on to 6th Street, operated by a 43-year-old Monroe woman. The Hernandez vehicle sustained functional damages, and the second vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed. Hernandez was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign and operating without a valid driver's license. Hernandez was released pending a court appearance.
On November 16, 2023, at 9:02 PM, officers were called to the 1600 block of 9th Street for a traffic complaint regarding unsafe driving. The investigation led to the arrest of Timothy J. Lease (61), Ridgeway, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, as well as being cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration greater than .15 and an unsafe lane deviation. Lease was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On November 12, 2023, at 2:40 AM, officers were requested by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole to take an individual into custody in the 1000 block of 13th Avenue on a probation violation. Grayle L. Strothman (36), Monroe, was arrested subsequent to the request and confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On November 1, 2023, at 7:27 AM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of 16th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of justin L. Laws (36), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Laws was released after posting cash bail pending a court appearance.

On October 29, 2023, at 6:03 AM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 2200 block of 1st Street. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Gavin B. Vance (24), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Vance was also taken into custody on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a probation violation, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On October 28, 2023, at 6:08 PM, officers responded to a residential parking lot in the 100 block of County Highway N, City of Monroe, for a reported hit and run motor vehicle accident with no reported injuries. The investigation led to the arrest of Brian J. Nelis (61), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-5th offense. Nelis was also cited for non-registration of a vehicle and operating without insurance. Nelis was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On October 26, 2023, at 3:56 PM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries in the 2500 block of 13th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Richard F. Wunschel (77), Monroe, was conducting a backing maneuver from a driveway, when it collided with a westbound vehicle on 13th Street operated by a 19-year-old Monroe man. Both vehicles sustained functional damages. Wunschel was cited for unsafe backing, and was released pending a court appearance.
On October 25, 2023, at 7:48 PM, officers arrested James M. Penegar (26), Monroe, in the 1500 block of 18th Street, following a traffic offense stop. Penegar was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Penegar was booked and released to a responsible person pending a court appearance. On October 26, 2023, at 9:41 PM, officers were called to a complaint alleging that a person was violating bail conditions at a residence in the 2300 block of 17th Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Aaron N. Mazahreh (46), Monroe, on a charge of felony bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from a prior case. Mazahreh was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On October 23, 2023, at 10:23 AM, officers arrested Bryce W. Harmon (26), Monroe, at a residence in the 2300 block of 18th Avenue, on a warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear in court for a previous case. Harmon was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On October 22, 2023, at 2:19 PM, officers arrested Amanda R. Nevenhoven (34), Monroe, in the 500 block of 18th Avenue, after being called to assist a citizen. Nevenhoven had an active warrant for arrest through the Green County Sheriff's Office for child support. Nevenhoven was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On October 22, 2023, at 3:16 PM, officers responded to a residence in the 2000 block of 8th Avenue for a report of a disturbance. The investigation led to the arrest of Gary W. Henning (59), Monroe, on a charge of physical abuse to a child. Henning was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On October 22, 2023, at 9:53 PM, officers arrested Ryan D. Meinert (42), Monroe, following a traffic offense stop in the 2000 block of 13th Street. Meinert was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-3rd offense and operating left of the center line. Meinert was booked and released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On October 19, 2023, at 7:17 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of 26th Avenue and 6th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Eric D. Ambler (51), Monroe, pulled out from the stop sign on 26th Avenue on to 6th Street, and collided with a vehicle which was traveling west on 6th Street, operated by Roy L. Naef (78), Monroe. Both vehicles sustained moderate damages and were operable. Ambler was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign and was released pending a court appearance.
On October 15, 2023, at 6:16 PM, officers arrested Gregory P. Wasylyk (57), Monroe, in the 600 block of 26th Street, after being called to a welfare check. The investigation led to Wasylyk being charged with physical abuse to a child and was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On October 13, 2023, at 11:54 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with reported injuries at the intersection of 18th Avenue and 7th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Abraham D. Arizmendi Zamora (30), Monroe, was traveling east on 7th Street, failed to yield the right of way from a yield sign, and collided with a southbound vehicle on 18th Avenue, operated by a 21-year-old Juda woman. The Juda woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by private vehicle to seek medical treatment. Both vehicles sustained moderate damages with one vehicle being towed. Arizmendi Zamora was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a yield sign and operating without motor vehicle insurance. Arizmendi Zamora was released pending a court appearance. On October 13, 2023, at 2:39 PM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with reported injuries in the 700 block of 6th Avenue West. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Mark E. Chapman (65), Lena, IL, exited STH 11 on the eastbound ramp, failed to yield from a stop sign, and collided with a southbound vehicle on 6th Avenue West, operated by Ariel R. Schwartz (31), Monticello. Chapman was transported to the SSM Monroe Hospital by Green County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. Schwartz also reported non-life-threatening injuries, was checked out at the scene by EMS, but declined transport. Both vehicles sustained disabling damages. Chapman was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and released pending a court appearance. Schwartz was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license, and released pending a court appearance. On October 13, 2023, at 7:51 PM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop for a traffic violation in the 900 block of 17th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Yeliks Migdonio Rodriguez Bellorin (27), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Rodriguez Bellorin was also cited for unnecessary acceleration, failure to maintain control of the vehicle, operating the wrong way on a one-way street, and operating without motor vehicle insurance. Rodriguez Bellorin was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On October 11, 2023, at 12;09 PM, officers responded to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of 13th Avenue and 19th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Anthony W. Killery (19), Monroe, left the stop sign at 19th Street, northbound on 13th Avenue, and collided with a vehicle which was eastbound on 19th Street, operated by Justin C. Dickau (26), Monroe. Both vehicles sustained minor to moderate damages and were operable. Killery was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending a court appearance.
On October 10, 2023, at 11:51 AM, officers responded to the 1000 block of 16th Avenue, for a vehicle versus parked vehicle accident with no reported injuries. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by George H. Olson (76, Argyle, was backing from a parking stall when the operator's foot slipped from the brake pedal, allowing the vehicle to collide with an unoccupied parked vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damages and were operable. Olson was cited for unsafe backing of a vehicle and released pending a court appearance.
On October 5, 2023, at 2:32 PM, officers took a belated report of a domestic disturbance which had occurred in the early morning hours at a residence in the 2400 block of 10th Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Jacob D. Mott Ubersox (22), South Wayne, on charges of battery, false imprisonment and disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Mott Ubersox was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On October 4, 2023, at 9:25 PM, officers arrested Eduardo B. Gomez (20), Freeport, IL, following a traffic offense stop in the 800 block of 8th Street. Gomez was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, was booked and released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On September 30, 2023, at 1:27 AM, officers observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on a divided highway in the 800 block of State Highway 69. Officers subsequently conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver, Alek A. Konopacki (24), Colorado Springs, CO, on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and also with operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration of more than .15. Konopacki was also cited for driving the wrong way on a divided highway, and was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.

September

On September 28, 2023, at 11:57 PM, officers were called to a business in the 400 block of 8th Street, for a report of a suspicious vehicle at that location. An investigation led to the arrest of Jamie A. Coogan (50), Mineral Point, on charges of possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Coogan was also taken into custody on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole on a probation violation. Coogan was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On September 27, 2023, at 7:10 AM, officers arrested William D. Gallagher (41), Three Rivers, MI, in the 2000 block of 4th Street. Gallagher was charged with disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Gallagher was confined in the Green County Jail and later released after posting bail pending a court appearance.
On September 26, 2023, at 12:51 AM, officers arrested Jonas A. Ramos Ramirez (27), Monroe, at a residence in the 800 block of 18th Avenue, following a disturbance call. Ramos Ramirez was charged with battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Ramos Ramirez was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On September 23, 2023, at 8:55 PM, officers were called to a disturbance at a residence in the 2100 block of 15th Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Dennis E. Beutel (53), Monroe, on charges of disorderly conduct and bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from prior cases prohibiting alcohol consumption. Beutel was confined in the Green Ciounty Jail pending a court appearance.
On September 21, 2023, at 10:21 AM, officers investigating a complaint of reckless driving in a business parking lot in the 200 block of 8th Street arrested one person on an arrest warrant. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Perry A. Reeve (37), Monroe, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole. Reeve was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings. On September 21, 2023, at 10:38 AM, officers investigating another matter in a business parking lot received a complaint about excessively loud music. That investigation led to the arrest of Marissa N. Davison (18), Freeport, IL, on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. Davison was confined in the Green County Jail, where she was later released on cash bail pending a court appearance.
On September 19, 2023, at 4:01 PM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries, at the intersection of 11th Street and 13th Avenue. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by David J. Oliver (23), Monroe, was northbound on 13th Avenue, attempted to turn west on to 11th Street and collided with a southbound vehicle on 13th Avenue, operated by a 16-year-old Monroe female. Both vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed. Oliver was cited for an unsafe turn, failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn, and having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Oliver was released pending a court appearance. On September 19, 2023, at 9:05 PM, officers were called to a report of an assault that had occurred in the 600 block of 8th Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Scott A. Buol (19), Monroe, on a charge of battery and disorderly conduct. Buol was booked and released pending a court appearance.
On September 18, 2023, at 7:46 PM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 2800 block of 7th Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Janelle L. Koehler (38), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Koehler was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On September 10, 2023, at 8:26 PM, officers arrested Charles E. Jaeger (25), Monroe, at a residence in the 1300 block of 16 1/2 Street, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a parole violation. Jaeger was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On August 31, 2023, at 10:38 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with reported injuries at STH 69 and 6th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Mark H. Johnson (55), Gratiot, was southbound on STH 69 and rear-ended another southbound vehicle, operated by a 54-year-opld Forreston, IL woman. An 81-year-old passenger in the rear-ended vehicle reported minor injuries and was transported by Green County EMS to the SSM Monroe Hospital. Both vehicles sustained minor damages. Johnson was cited for motor vehicle following too closely and released pending a court appearance.

On August 29, 2023, at 2:38 AM, officers arrested Dustin J. Olson (33), Monroe, in the 600 block of West 8th Street, on a warrant issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear in court for a disorderly conduct case. Olson was confined in the Green County Jail pending transfer to Lafayette County. On August 29, 2023, at 10:30 AM, officers arrested Robert W. Allen (41), Monticello, in the 700 block of 3rd Avenue, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole, for a parole violation. Allen was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On August 28, 2023, at 5:24 PM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries in the 2100 block of 15th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Jose F. Casco Hoyes (33), Monroe, was conducting a backing maneuver from a driveway, and collided with a legally parked and unoccupied vehicle. Minor to moderate damages were sustained to both vehicles. Casco Hoyes was cited for unsafe backing, operating without a valid driver's license and operating without motor vehicle insurance. On August 25, 2023, at 4:21 PM, officers were called to the intersection of STH 69 and 30th Street for a single vehicle traffic accident with no reported injuries. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Crystal L. Mordick (40), Freeport, IL, was traveling south on STH 69 when the vehicle crossed the median and struck a light pole. The vehicle then continued south, again crossed the median and struck a sign post. The vehicle continued on and struck a building, finally coming to rest in the 700 block of 30th Street. Mordick was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for failure to maintain control of the vehicle. Mordick was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On August 24, 2023, at 6:11 PM, officers were called to a single vehicle accident with no reported injuries at 2nd Street and 11th Avenue. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Kimberly Cross (51), Monroe, was traveling west on 2nd Street, failed to stop at a stop sign, left the roadway and collided with a fire hydrant. Both the vehicle and the hydrant had minor damages. Cross was cited for inattentive driving and failure to stop for a stop sign. Cross was released pending a court appearance.

Lorenz (30), Monroe, in the 2800 block of 6th Street, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole, for a probation violation. Lorenz was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On August 21, 2023, at 8:28 PM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of 10th Avenue and 22nd Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Luis A. Toledo (20), Monroe, was eastbound on 22nd Street and collided with a vehicle which was northbound on 10th Avenue, operated by a 30-year-old Monroe man. Toldeo was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and was released pending a court appearance.
On August 14, 2023, at 3:19 PM, officers responded to a residence in the 1700 block of 25th Street for a call for service. investigation resulted in the arrest of Laura J. White (61), on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. White was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On August 13, 2023, at 3:25 AM, officers were called to the area of 19th Street and 16th Avenue for a report of a vehicle which was abandoned in the roadway. It was unknown if the vehicle was possibly involved in an accident. Further investigation indicated that the vehicle operated by Edgardo A. Escoto Ramirez (28), Monroe, had been westbound on 16th Avenue in the 1700 block when it left the roadway and collided with a tree. The vehicle then came back on to the roadway in the 1800 block of 16th Avenue, where it became disabled. There were no reported injuries and the vehicle sustained major front-end damages, requiring towing. Ecoto Ramirez was cited for operating without a valid driver's license, having no proof of insurance, and failure to notify police of an accident. Escoto Ramirez was released pending a court appearance.
On August 8, 2023, at 11:40 PM, officers were called to a reported disturbance in the 1000 block of 18th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Amber R. Gassman (37), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Gassman was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On August 4, 2023, at 10:59 PM, officers were called to the 500 block of West 21st Street by several 911 calls. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Yvette E. Tafolla (36), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence Laws. Tafolla was later released after posting cash bail pending a court appearance.

On July 26, 2023, at 10:33 PM, officers responded to the Police Department lobby, 1811 12th Street, for a walk-in domestic disturbance complaint. The investigation led to the arrest of jeffrey A. Ewald (46), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Ewald was released after posting cash bail, pending a court appearance. On July 26, 2023, at 11:36 PM, officers conducting another investigation at 1811 12th Street became aware of the possible driving impairment of one of the involved persons. The investigation of this led to the arrest of Amber R. Gassman (37), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-2nd offense, with a passenger under the age of 16. Gassman was also charged with resisting/obstructing an officer, and after posting cash bail, was released pending a court appearance.
On July 25, 2023, at 3:01 PM, officers arrested Dixie J. Marklund (76), Orangeville, IL, in the 2000 block of 4th Street, after being called to a report of a person refusing to leave the SSM Health-Monroe Hospital emergency room. Marklund was charged with criminal trespass to a medical facility after all other avenues were exhausted. Marklund was also charged with resisting/obstructing officers, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On July 19, 2023, at 5:25 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of STH 69 and 8th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Breanna L. McCoy (19), Monticello, was westbound on 8th Street, left the flashing red signal at STH 69 and collided with a vehicle which was southbound on STH 69, operated by a 67-year-old Cottage Grove man. Both vehicle sustained disabling damages and were towed. McCoy was cited for failure to yield the right of way from the flashing red signal and was released pending a court appearance. On July 19, 2023, at 7:43 PN, officers arrested Randall S. Zuber (45), Monroe, in the 1300 block of 20th Street, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole, for a probation violation. Zuber was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On July 14, 2023, at 12:56 AM, officers arrested Katlyn A. Steinmann (26), Monroe, following a traffic offense stop in the 1700 block of 15th Avenue. Steinmann was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Steinmann was also cited for failure to stop for a stop sign, possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, and operating with a prohibited alcohol content of .15% or more. Steinmann was booked and released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On July 10, 2023, at 11:54 AM, officers arrested Dennis E. Beautel (52), Monroe, following a complaint about a person violating bail conditions in the 1400 block of 22nd Avenue. Beutel was charged with seven (7) counts of bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from prior cases prohibiting contact with a designated person. Beutel was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On July 10, 2023, at 3:07 PM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 19th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by David L. Ellis (36), Monroe, was traveling south on 16th Avenue, and attempted to make a U-turn on 19th Street. While attempting the turn, the vehicle collided with another vehicle which was southbound on 16th Avenue, operated by a 71-year-old Monroe woman. Ellis's vehicle sustained minor damages, while the other vehicle sustained moderate damages. Ellis was cited for operating without a valid driver's license, unlawful U-turn, and operating without motor vehicle insurance. Ellis was also arrested on a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department for failure to appear in court for a prior shoplifting case. Ellis was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On July 8, 2023, at 11:54 PM, officers arrested Matthew J. Coulthard (18), Monroe, following a traffic offense stop in the 400 block of 8th Street. Coulthard was charged with a violation of absolute sobriety and was also charged with obstructing an officer. Coulthard was booked and released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On June 30, 2023, at 1:18 AM, officers arrested Dayne T. Garwell (18), Monroe, following a traffic offense stop in the 200 block of 14th Avenue. Garwell was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for operating while suspended, possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (marijuana), and underage possession/consumption of alcohol. Garwell was booked and released to a responsible person pending a court appearance. On June 30, 2023, at 8:26 AM, officers arrested Matthew J. Buman (51), Darlington, on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole. Buman was also charged with resisting/obstructing an officer. Buman was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On June 30, 2023, at 11:13 PM, officers responded to the 500 block of 21st Street for a report of a vehicle versus parked unoccupied vehicle accident. An investigation indicated that a westbound vehicle on 21st Street, operated by Eric C. Larse (38), South Wayne, collided with a legally parked unoccupied vehicle. Larse was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-2nd offense. Larse was also cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle. Larse was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.

On June 28, 2023, at 12:54 AM, officers were called to a business in the 400 block of 8th Street, for a report of an intoxicated person on the business property. An investigation led to the arrest of Tyrese L. Timmons (23), Rockford, IL, on a charge of obstructing an officer. Timmons was found to also have an active warrant for his arrest from Illinois. Timmons was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On June 25, 2023, at 3:05 AM, officers on a traffic offense stop in the 1600 block of 16th Avenue arrested Ariel Antonio Lopez Carrasco (35), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Lopez Carrasco was also cited for operating without a valid driver's license and reckless driving. Lopez Carrasco was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance. On June 25, 2023, at 6:39 PM, officers were called to the 500 block of 22nd Avenue for a person with an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole. The investigation led to the arrest of Marissa L. Heim (27), Monroe. Heim was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings. On June 25, 2023, at 7:33 pm, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West. The investigation led to the arrest of Billy J. Grinnell (60), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Grinnell was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On June 24, 2023, at 1:54 AM, officers were called to a business in the 1400 block of 17th Street, for a report of an unwanted person causing a disturbance. An investigation led to the arrest of Peter V. Cramer (37), Monroe, on charges of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, misdemeanor bail jumping, felony possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (marijuana), and felony threats to a law enforcement officer. Cramer was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On June 24, 2023, at 2:12 AM, officers conducting an investigation on another matter observed a person violating bail conditions in a business in the 1400 block of 17th Street. That investigation led to the arrest of Donald G. Bornemeier (43), Monroe, on a charge of misdemeanor bail jumping. Bornemeier was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On June 21, 2023, at 12:00 PM, Alicia R. Laws (42), Monroe, was arrested following a traffic offense stop in the 1400 block of 12th Street. Laws was charged with bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from a prior case prohibiting operating vehicles. Laws was also cited for operating while revoked due to alcohol content and was later released pending a court appearance.
On June 17, 2023, at 3:03 PM, officers were called to the 300 block of 6th Avenue West for a report of a theft which occurred at a business. An investigation led to the arrest of Tricia L. Gates (51), Browntown, on a charge of theft. Gates posted cash bail and was released pending a court appearance. On June 17, 2023, at 7:15 PM, officers arrested Daniel E. Bliss (42), Monroe, on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole. Bliss was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On June 12, 2023, at 7:56 PM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 500 block of West 21st Street. An Investigation led to the arrest of Roger M. Blum (54), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Blum was also placed on an apprehension hold by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On June 10, 2023, at 12:14 PM, officers were called to a vehicle versus parked unoccupied vehicle accident, with no reported injuries, in the 2400 block of 5th Street. An investigation indicated that an eastbound vehicle on 5th Street, operated by John T. Adkins (89), Monroe, collided with a legally parked unoccupied vehicle. The Adkins vehicle sustained minor damages while the parked vehicle sustained severe damages. Adkins was cited for inattentive driving and released pending a court appearance.
On June 8, 2023, at 6:28 AM, officers arrested Aaron N. Mazahreh (46), Monroe, at 11th Street and 31st Avenue, on a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department. Mazahreh was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two (2) counts of felony bail jumping due to violations of bail conditions on a prior case. Mazahreh was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On June 4, 2023, at 1:39 AM, officers arrested Austin J. Ferguson (27), Brodhead, following a traffic offense stop in the 1400 block of 17th Avenue. Ferguson was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for operating without required headlamps lighted and excessive window tinting. Ferguson was booked and released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On June 3, 2023, at 3:40 PM, officers were called to a business in the 400 block of West 8th Street for a report of a disorderly person threatening others with a baseball bat. An investigation led to the arrest of Sean P. Flynn (52), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct while armed, resisting arrest, and felony bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from a prior case. Flynn was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On June 3, 2023, at 4:54 PM, officers were dispatched to the SSM Health-Monroe Hospital emergency room to assist Albany Police Department officers with a female suspect resisting arrest while in their custody. An investigation led to additional charges for the person, identified as Melissa M. McGinn (45), Albany. McGinn was additionally charged with resisting arrest and attempted battery to a law enforcement officer after McGinn kicked a Monroe officer. McGinn was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On June 2, 2023, at 9:41 PM, officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a business in the 600 block of West 8th Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Kaleb J. Herman (24), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Herman was released pending a court appearance.
On May 31, 2023, at 12:42 AM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 500 block of 16th Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Shane A. Chesebro (41), Monroe, on a charge of battery and two (2) counts of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Chesebro was later released after posting cash bail, pending a court appearance.

On May 29, 2023, at 12:56 AM, officers conducting a traffic offense stop at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 19th Street arrested Julia M. Gempler (26), Monticello. Gempler was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for improper stop at a stop sign and possession of open intoxicants-driver. Gempler was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance. On May 29, 2023, at 11:39 AM, officers arrested Donald J. Alexander (31), Monroe, near the intersection of 6th Street and 4th Avenue. Alexander was wanted on two warrants for failure to pay child support, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On May 26, 2023, at 1:53 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of CTH DR and STH 69. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Paul D. Komprood (74), Monroe, was proceeding east on CTH DR, across STH 69, and collided with a vehicle which was northbound on STH 69, operated by Jeffrey E. Flick (60), Monroe. There was moderate damage on both vehicles. Komprood was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign and released pending a court appearance.
On May 25, 2023, at 8:14 PM, officers arrested Jerry V. Coplien (32), Monroe, in the 900 block of 8th Street, on an apprehension request issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole. Coplien was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On May 22, 2023, at 10:44 PM, officers were called to a business in the 1900 block of 10th Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident with reported injuries. The investigation led to the arrest of Taylor D. Hawkinson (24), Brodhead, on charges of battery and disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Hawkinson was also charged with reckless driving causing injury, hit and run involving injury, and failure to notify police of an accident. Hawkinson was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On May 22, 2023, at 10:45 PM, officers were called to a residence in the 900 block of 8th Street for a domestic disturbance. The investigation led to the arrest of Jerry V. Coplien (32), Monroe, on charges of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Coplien posted cash bail and was released pending a court appearance.
On May 20, 2023, at 6:15 AM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop on a vehicle in the 2300 block of 13th Avenue for expired registration. An investigation led to the arrest of Bryce W. Harmon (25), Monroe, on charges of possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Harmon was also cited for operating without a valid driver's license and operating without proof of insurance. Harmon was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On May 20, 2023, at 10:54 PM, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 700 block of 17th Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Cira C. Huertero Barrera (39), Freeport, IL, on charges of disorderly conduct and two counts of battery. Huertero Barrera was released after posting cash bail, pending a court appearance.
On May 18, 2023, at 3:38 AM, officer were requested by another law enforcement agency to make contact with a person wanted on warrant in their jurisdiction. The investigation led to the arrest of Joseph D. Wright (40), Monroe, at a residence in the 800 block of 24th Street. Wright was taken into custody on a Wood County WI warrant, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings. On May 18, 2023, at 3:19 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue. The investigation indicated that a semi tractor-trailer unit operated by Mandeep Chumber (33), Crystal Lake, IL, was traveling north on 3rd Avenue, when Chumber attempted to turn right on to 8th Street. Due to the length of the vehicle, the turn was wide. While engaged in the turn, the vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a vehicle operated by Esteban Murrietadorantes (54), Monroe, which was also attempting to turn right on to 8th Street from 3rd Avenue. The trailer unit sustained functional damage, and the other vehicle sustained moderate damages. Murrietadorantes was cited for unsafe turn at an interesction and operating after revocation due to an alcohol related conviction, and was released pending a court appearance. On May 18, 2023, at 3:50 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of 25th Avenue and 12th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Charles R. Boughton (43), Monroe, was attempting to turn west on to 12th Street when the cargo being transported shifted. Boughton looked away from the roadway and struck a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle owned by Rena A. Welty of Monroe. Boughton was cited for inattentive driving and was released pending a court appearance. On May 18, 2023, at 5:07 PM, officers were called to the 2400 block of 11th Avenue for a report of a truck which lost the trailer it was towing. The investigation indicated that a truck operated by Brandy M. Williams (40), Browntown, was towing a trailer, which was improperly secured, causing the trailer to dislodge. The trailer struck a lawn owned by Linda J. Vetterli, Monroe, causing damage. The vehicle then left the scene. An officer enroute to the accident observed a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle involved in the accident at STH 69 and 11th Street. As the officer was watching, the vehicle again lost the trailer being towed, which then exited the roadway and struck a legally parked vehicle in a yard, owned by Curtis J. Kindschi, Monroe. Further investigation led to the arrest of the driver, Brandy M. Williams, on charges of felony bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from a prior case, operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams was also cited for towing with improper hitches and coupling, reckless driving, and failure to have control of a vehicle. Williams was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On May 17, 2023, at 12:25 AM, officers arrested Davontay W. Oden (24), Monroe, at a residence in the 300 block of 4th Street, on a charge of bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions for a prior case. Oden was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On May 17, 2023, at 2:43 AM, officers arrested Mitchel J. Disch (41), Footville, following a traffic offense stop in the 1700 block of STH 69. Disch was charged with misdemeanor bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions for a prior case. Disch was also cited for operating a motor vehicle after revocation-criminal, operating with no insurance, failure to fasten seatbelt and violating child safety restraint requirements. Disch was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On May 16, 2023, at 2:51 AM, officers arrested Sabrina V. M. Goebel (21), Freeport, IL, following a traffic offense stop at STH 69 and 21st Street. Goebel was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense and possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (marijuana)-1st offense. Goebel was additionally charged with obstructing an officer after providing a false name. Goebel was cited for operating without a valid driver's license and improper left turn. Goebel was booked and released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On May 16, 2023, at 7:49 AM, Monroe Police Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man, allegedly walking barefoot in the roadway near the Monroe Middle School, in the 1500 block of 13th Street. Responding officers located the man about a block away, in the 1400 block of 17th Avenue, and found the man to be intoxicated. An investigation indicated that the man had been yelling at pedestrians, and had walked on to school grounds, but was immediately contacted by the school administration, and escorted off of the grounds while police were called. Nothing more occurred. The man was identified as Steven A. Steiner (30), Browntown. Steiner was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and as being an unauthorized person on school grounds. Steiner was also taken into custody on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On May 14, 2023, at 3:07 AM, officers were called to a report of unknown trouble in the 900 block of 13th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Duvan J. Becerril (24), Monroe, on charges of false imprisonment and disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Becerril was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On May 10, 2023, at 5:02 PM, officers arrested Michael L. Kutyna (46), Monroe, following a traffic offense stop in the 600 block of 19th Avenue. Kutyna was arrested on a warrant from Illinois for failure to appear in court and was also wanted on a warrant from Arizona. Kutyna was also cited for speeding and operating a motor vehicle while suspended, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On May 9, 2023, at 8:03 PM, officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 1400 block of 30th Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Aaron N. Mazahreh (46), Monroe, on charges of fleeing an officer, possession of methamphetamine, two (2) counts of possession of a Schedule II narcotic drug, and two (2) counts of felony bail jumping. Mazahreh was also cited for failure to stop for a stop sign, unreasonable and imprudent speed, and reckless driving. Mazahreh was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On May 8, 2023, at 8:29 PM, officers arrested Peter V. Cramer (36), Blue Mounds, in the 400 block of 4th Avenue, on charges stemming from a May 5, 2023, incident, where Cramer allegedly fled from a traffic offense stop. Cramer was charged with obstructing/resisting an officer, and was also cited for violation of a motorcycle instructional permit. Cramer was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On May 7, 2023, at 1:30 AM, an officer working on another case observed a person apparently violating conditions of bail in the 1900 block of 10th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Craig W. R. Thom (21), Monroe, on a charge of bail jumping due to a violation of bail from a prior case prohibiting possession of alcohol. Thom was also cited for possession of open alcohol in public. Thom was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On May 6, 2023, at 9:35 PM, officers arrested Narlin A. Umanzor Perez (36), Monroe, following a traffic offense stop in the 900 block of 8th Street. On April 27, 2023, at 11:51 AM, officers were called to a single vehicle versus traffic signal light pole accident, with no reported injuries, at STH 69 and 21st Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Deanna M. Briggs (53), Rock City, IL, was traveling southbound on STH 69 when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a traffic signal light pole. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed. The traffic signal sustained disabling damages as well. Briggs was cited for inattentive driving and was released pending a court appearance. On April 27, 2023, at 12:48 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries, at the intersection of 13th Avenue and 11th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Phillip E. Hakanson (72), Monroe, was eastbound on 11th Street. After stopping at the stop sign at 13th Avenue, Hakanson proceeded into the intersection and collided with a northbound vehicle on 13th Avenue, operated by Mauricio Pina (48), Monroe. Both vehicles sustained moderate damages. Hakanson was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending a court appearance. Pina was cited for operating without a valid driver's license, and was released pending a court appearance.
On April 21, 2023, at 12:44 PM, officers arrested Dustin J. Olson (33), Monroe, on an arrest warrant issued by the Dane County Sheriff's Office for child support. Olson was confined in the Green County Jail pending transfer to Dane County.

On April 6, 2023, at 12:33 AM, officers conducting a traffic offense stop in the 2000 block of 6th Street arrested Mason J. Hughes (20), Mineral Point, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and possession of schedule II narcotic. Hughes was also cited for improper stop at a stop sign, excessive window tint, and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Hughes was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On April 6, 2023, at 9:17 PM, officers were called to a residence in the 1700 block of 8th Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Vazquez Tapia posted cash bail and was released pending a court appearance.
On April 2, 2023, at 3:51 AM, officers arrested Hugo J. Leonel (19), Freeport, IL, following a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 2600 block of 2nd Avenue. Leonel was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (THC), possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Leonel was also cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license, and having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. On March 26, 2023, at 1:27 AM, officers arrested Samantha R.M. Estep (36), Monroe, after an officer conducting a separate investigation observed her in an alcohol serving establishment in the 1900 block of 10th Avenue. Schmid (33), Monroe, at a residence in the 1800 block of 10th Avenue, following the execution of a search warrant. Schmid was charged with unauthorized use of an individual's identifying information, and was also taken into custody on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a probation violation. Gutierrez Centeno (30), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-2nd offense. On March 12, 2023, at 3:35 AM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with reported injuries, at the intersection of STH 69 and 6th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Jacob W. Martin (20), Monroe, was eastbound on 6th Street, stopped at the flashing red signal at STH 69, proceeded into the intersection and collided with a vehicle operated by a 44 year old Monroe woman, which was northbound on STH 69. The 44 year old Monroe woman reported a minor injury but declined EMS transport. Both vehicles sustained functional damages. Martin was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a flashing red light, operating with a suspended registration, and operating without proof of insurance. Martin was released pending a court appearance.
On March 11, 2023, at 1:29 AM, officers arrested Tyler A. Williams (26), Monticello, in the 1300 block of 17th Street, on a warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear in court on a traffic case. Williams was later released after posting cash bail, pending a court appearance. On March 11, 2023, at 10:34 PM, officers were called to a complaint of a person violating bail conditions at a business in the 1300 block of 17th Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Zachary A. Brown (29), Evansville, on a charge of felony bail jumping due to violations of bail conditions on a prior case prohibiting alcohol consumption and being in a place of alcohol sales. Brown was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

Segner (44), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-5th offense. Segner was also held on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a probation violation. On March 9, 2023, at 1:46 AM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 1100 block of 11th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Perry A. Reeve (36), Monroe, on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions on a prior criminal case. Reeve was also cited for operating with a defective headlight. Reeve was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. A passenger in the vehicle, Kenin L. Stewart (38), Monroe, was also arrested, and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting/obstructing an officer. On March 8, 2023, at 12:07 AM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 1400 block of 20th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Samantha R.M. On March 4, 2023, at 4:18 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 10th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle northbound on 5th Avenue, operated by Jesse C. Kehler (18), McConnell, IL, made a left turn on to 10th Street and collided with a vehicle operated by a 54 year old Monroe woman, which was stopped at the stop sign, eastbound on 10th Street. There was functional damage to both vehicles. Kehler was cited for improper left turn, and was released pending a court appearance. On March 4, 2023, at 6:02 PM, officers were called to a report of a person violating bail conditions at a residence in the 2700 block of 8th Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Jeffery K. Norton (36), Monroe, who was charged with two (2) counts of misdemeanor bail jumping due to violations of bail conditions from prior cases prohibiting the consumption of alcohol. Norton was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On March 4, 2023, at 11:45 PM, officers arrested Michelle A. Liphart (40), Juda, following a traffic offense stop in the 400 block of West 8th Street. Liphart was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for improper stop at a stop sign and illegible license plates. Liphart was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.

On February 25, 2023, at 7:03 PM, officers were called to a business in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West for a shoplifting complaint. An investigation led to Candice M. Dailey (35), Argyle, being cited for retail theft, and being released pending a court appearance.
On February 24, 2023, at 11:11 AM, officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1100 block of 18th Avenue, where the suspect had left the scene. Officers located the suspect in the 1600 block of 9th Street and the investigation led to the arrest of Sean P. Flynn (51), Monroe. Flynn was subsequently charged with disorderly conduct and resisting officers and was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On February 21, 2023, at 7:40 PM, officers were called to a business in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West for a shoplifting complaint. An investigation led to the arrest of David L. Ellis (36), Rockford, IL, on a charge of felony retail theft, and misdemeanor bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from a prior case. Ellis was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On February 19, 2023, at 12:18 AM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 2000 block of 16th Street, which led to the arrest of John M. May (43), Monroe. May was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration and for an improper stop at a stop sign. May was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance. On February 19, 2023, at 1:29 AM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 2900 block of 13th Street. This investigation led to the arrest of the driver of the vehicle, Felicia M. Thompson (25), Janesville, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence-1st offense. Subsequent to that arrest, Thompson was also charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic-oxycodone, possession of tetrahydrocannabinols-THC (marijuana), possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Thompson was also cited for operating after suspension of vehicle registration. The passenger in the vehicle, Monique L. Kreger (28), Janesville, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of THC (marijuana), possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from another case. Both persons were confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On February 17, 2023, at 9:30 AM, officers assisted the US Marshals Service in arresting Alan J. Blahnik (43), Monroe, at a residence in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West. Blahnik was arrested on several failure to appear in court arrest warrants, and also an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for an extended supervision violation. Blahnik was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings. On February 17, 2023, at 10:15 AM, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2300 block of 12th Street. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Ryan R. Weeden (50), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct-domestic related. Weeden posted cash bail and was released pending a court appearance.
On February 16, 2023, at 7:45 AM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries, at 13th Avenue and 9th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Janice L. Pfarr (71), Monroe, was northbound on 13th Avenue, failed to stop for a red traffic signal, and collided with a vehicle westbound on 9th Street, operated by a 63 year old Monroe man. Pfarr's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed, while the other vehicle sustained functional damages. Pfarr was cited for failure to stop for a red traffic signal, and was released pending a court appearance.
On February 15, 2023, at 1:31 AM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of 16th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Michelle M. Miller (41), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct-domestic related. Miller was also charged with resisting and threatening officers. Miller was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On February 15, 2023, at 11:20 PM, officers arrested John H. Allen (68), Monroe, in the 2500 block of 16th Avenue, following a complaint about loud vehicle music. Allen was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-2nd offense, and was also cited for nuisance noise. Allen was booked and released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On February 11, 2023, at 1:38 AM, officers arrested Melinda D. Brown (61), West Milton, OH, in the 600 block of 8th Street, following a traffic offense incident in the 600 block of 8th Street. Brown was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On February 11, 2023, at 10:14 AM, officers were called to a motor vehicle vs a light pole accident, with no reported injuries, in the 3000 block of STH 69. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Jon T. Craigo (58), Monroe, was northbound on STH 69, when Craigo's vehicle left the roadway and struck a light pole in the median, knocking the light pole down. There was functional damage to the Craigo vehicle and disabling damage to the light pole. Craigo was cited for inattentive driving, and was released pending a court appearance.
On February 8, 2023, Monroe Police were contacted by staff at the Monroe Culvers, in the 200 block of 8th Street, who had found an envelope that contained a large amount of money. This money had been apparently been left behind by persons unknown who had been in the business. This money was turned over to the Police Department, and remains unclaimed. Anyone wishing to claim this money should contact the Police Department.
On February 9, 2023, at 1:22 AM, officers arrested Matthew P. Baumgartner (31), Monroe after an officer investigating another matter observed a prohibited person in a prohibited area. Baumgartner was charged with felony bail jumping due to a violations of bail conditions from a separate case, misdemeanor bail jumping, as well as being charged with possession of cocaine. Baumgartner was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On February 8, 2023, at 7:58 PM, officers were called to the intersection of 15th Avenue and 15th Street, for a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries. The investigation revealed that a vehicle, operated by Leslie J. Pryce (22), Brodhead, which was southbound on 15th Avenue, attempted to make a left turn on to 15th Street. While negotiating the turn, the Pryce vehicle struck a legally parked, unattended vehicle, owned by a Monroe woman. Both vehicles sustained moderate damages. Pryce was cited for failure to keep the vehicle under control, and released pending a court appearance.
On February 4, 2023, at 3:02 AM, officers arrested Dean T. Kasten (23), Monroe, in the 1900 block of 8th Street, after an officer checked the welfare of a person slumped over at the wheel of a parked, running vehicle. Kasten was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for operating with prohibited alcohol concentration. Kasten was released to a responsible person pending a appearance.
On February 3, 2023, at 10:25 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with injuries, at 9th Street and 20th Avenue. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Franklin Montenegro Lira (33), South Beloit, IL, was eastbound on 9th Street, left the stop sign at 20th Avenue, and collided with a vehicle which was southbound on 20th Avenue, operated by a 60 year old Monroe woman. A passenger in the second vehicle, a 51 year old Juda woman, reported a minor injury, but declined medical aid on scene. Montenegro Lira's vehicle sustained functional damages, the second vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed. Montenegro Lira was cited for operating without a valid driver's license, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and for motor vehicle windows not being reasonably clean. Montenegro Lira was released pending a court appearance.
On February 1, 2023, at 2:56 PM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 2700 block of STH 69. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Trever L. On January 31, 2023, at 7:04 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries, at the intersection of 19th Street and 16th Avenue. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Michael D. Kohl (37), Monroe, was eastbound on 19th Street, failed to stop for the stop sign at 16th Avenue, entered the intersection and collided with a vehicle operated by Carrie L. Raisbeck (51) Browntown, which was southbound on 16th Avenue. Both vehicle sustained moderate damages. Kohl was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and non-registration of a vehicle, and was released pending a court appearance.

On January 30, 2023, at 3:44 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of 2nd Street and STH 69. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by George W. Kint (93), Monroe, was westbound on 2nd Street, left the stop sign at STH 69, continued into the intersection, and collided with a vehicle which was southbound on STH 69, operated by Nathan N. Strahm Jr. (35), New Glarus. The Kint vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed, the Strahm vehicle sustained moderate damages and was drivable. Kint was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending a court appearance.
On January 27, 2023, at 1:57 PM, officers were called to a three vehicle accident, with no reported injuries, in the 600 block of 20th Avenue. It was discovered that one vehicle had left the scene. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Sheena L. Mclemore (38), Monroe, was southbound on 20th Avenue and collided with a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle. The second vehicle then collided with a third vehicle, which was also legally parked and unoccupied. All three vehicles sustained functional damage. Mclemore was cited for hit and run to an unattended vehicle, operating while suspended, non-registration of a vehicle and operating without a valid driver's license. Mclemore was released pending a court appearance.
On January 23, 2023, at 6:24 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the intersection of 16th Street and 14th Avenue. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Haden R. Barker (17), Monroe, was traveling east on 16th Street, left a stop sign and collided with a vehicle, operated by Shayna K. Boeck (18), Lena, IL, which was traveling south on 14th Avenue. Both vehicles sustained moderate damages, and the Boeck vehicle was towed. Barker was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending a court appearance.
On January 22, 2023, at 1:37 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of 16th Street and 14th Avenue, with no reported injuries. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Amanda R. Lowery (36), Monroe, was traveling south on 14th Avenue, when it collided with a vehicle operated by Matthew D. Acevedo (38), Stockton, IL, which left the stop sign on 16th Street. There were moderate vehicle damages. Acevedo was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending a court appearance.
On January 20, 2023, at 12;33 PM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 2000 block of 17th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Justin J. Norder (43), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws. Norder posted bail and was released pending a court appearance.
On January 23, 2023, at 2:35 AM, officers arrested Nathaniel T. Wiley (21), Monroe, in the 1000 block of STH 69, on a warrant from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a probation violation. Wiley was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On January 15, 2023, at 1:44 AM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 1900 block of 15th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Anthony D. Black (21), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Black was also cited for speeding, failure to display vehicle license plates, non-registration of a vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Black was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On January 14, 2023, at 11:15 PM, officers were called to a domestic related dispute at a residence in the 2500 block of 10th Street. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Hunter S. Santoro (19), Monroe, on charges of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws, and obstructing an officer. Santoro was also taken into custody on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole. Santoro was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On January 10, 2023, at 2:06 AM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 2200 block of 5th Street. The investigation led to the arrest of Janet L. Reddick (42), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Reddick was also cited for improper stop at a stop sign and operating left of the centerline, and was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On January 8, 2023, at 1:28 AM, officers were called to a single vehicle versus light pole accident with no reported injuries, in the 800 block of 8th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Francisco Temoxtle Sanchez (27), Monroe, was traveling west on 8th Street, when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a light pole. The vehicle then left the scene, but was located shortly after in a business parking lot in the 500 block of 4th Avenue. Temoxtle Sanchez was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, operating without a valid driver's license, operating without vehicle insurance, and failure to notify police of an accident. Temoxtle Sanchez was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance. On January 8, 2023, at 5:52 AM, officers were called to a single vehicle versus power pole accident with no reported injuries, in the 1200 block of 9th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Madalin A. Zentner (25), Monroe, was attempting to turn west on to 9th Street from 13th Avenue, when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a power pole. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed. Zentner was cited for operating too fast for conditions, and was released pending a court appearance.
On January 4, 2023, at 3:30 PM, officers were called to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of 12th Avenue and 22nd Street, with no reported injuries. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Floyd D. Eckerty II (61), Monroe, was traveling east on 22nd Street, entered the intersection with 12th Avenue, and collided with a vehicle operated by Joshua P. Hoeltke (42), Monroe, which was traveling north on 12th Avenue. Both vehicles sustained moderate damages and were drivable. Eckerty was cited for failure to yield right of way from a yield sign, and was released pending a court appearance.
On January 4, 2023, at 6:24 AM, officers were called to domestic disturbance incident in the 1400 block of 30th Avenue. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Aaron N. Mazahreh (45), Monroe, on charges of disorderly conduct and false imprisonment under Wisconsin's Domestic Violence laws, as well as physical abuse of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mazahreh was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On January 4, 2023, at 2:33 PM, officers were called to a street disturbance in the 1400 block of 22nd Avenue. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Dennis E. Beutel (52), Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Beutel was also charged with felony bail jumping when it was discovered that there was a violation of bail conditions from a prior felony case. Beutel was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. On January 4, 2023, at 8:28 PM, officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 2900 block of 13th Street. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Zachary J. Blackwood (19), South Wayne, on an arrest warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole. Blackwood was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.
On January 1, 2023, at 12:43 AM, officers were called to a single vehicle accident with no reported injuries at 7th Street and 14th Avenue. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Edwin A. Mairena Herrera (21), Monroe, was westbound on 7th Street, turning north on to 14th Avenue, when the vehicle collided with the curb, causing disabling damage. Mairena Herrera was subsequently arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited with operating without a valid driver's license, operating without vehicle insurance, and operating with improper tire tread depth. Mairena Herrera was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance. On January 1, 2023, at 11:12 AM, officers arrested Amanda A Chapin (50), Monroe, at a residence in the 1300 block of 23rd Avenue, on a warrant issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office, Chapin was later transferred to the custody of Lafayette County deputies, pending a court appearance.
On December 31, 2022, at 8:58 PM, officers were called to a vehicle versus parked vehicle accident with no reported injuries in the 1300 block of 14th Avenue. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Alixandra M. Fish (22), South Wayne, was northbound on 14th Avenue when it collided with a legally parked and unoccupied vehicle. There was functional damages to both vehicles. Fish was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for operating with suspended driving privileges and driving too fast for conditions. Fish was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On December 30, 2022, at 1:02 PM, officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 1300 block of 10th Street. The investigation led to the driver, Jean E. Justice 9280, Monroe, being cited for operating without a valid driver's license. Justice was also found to be wanted on a warrant from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a probation violation, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings. A passenger in the vehicle, Derek E. Gobeli (36), Warren, IL, was arrested on two (2) warrants issued by the Green County Sheriff's Office for child support, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
